Application of Social Media for Public Relations of Boonlert Barber Shop

Abstract

The research on the application of social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop has the objectives 1) to apply social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop and 2) to study the satisfaction towards the use of social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop. The sample group used in this research was 30 male general users who had access to the Internet. The researcher selected the sample group by accidental sampling, considering the convenience of meeting the target group. The instruments used in this research consisted of  1) social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop, 2) an evaluation form for the effectiveness of social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop, and 3) a questionnaire on the satisfaction of users towards social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber Shop.


The research results found that the application of social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber, by evaluating the efficiency from 3 experts, found that the mean ( ) was 4.06 and the standard deviation (S.D.) was 0.63. The highest-rated issue was the selection of a platform that matched consumer behavior. In addition, the study of the satisfaction assessment of social media users for public relations of Boonlert Barber found that the mean ( ) was 4.40 and the standard deviation (S.D.) was 0.49. The highest-rated evaluation item was the ability to access public relations media conveniently. Therefore, social media for public relations of Boonlert Barber could be used according to the specified objectives.
