Development of A Short Course on Digital Mixer Sound Management for Second-Year Students at the Faculty of Innovation Technology and Creativity, Far Eastern University

Abstract
This study aims 1) To develop and pilot a short-term training curriculum on sound management using a digital mixer for second-year students in the Faculty of Innovation Technology and Creativity at Far Eastern University. 2) Evaluate the outcomes of the sound management training. The target group consists of 7 second-year undergraduate students majoring in Digital Marketing Communication in the Faculty of Innovation Technology and Creativity at Far Eastern University, who enrolled in the DMC 212 Modern Event Marketing course (specifically the live music performance section). The participants were selected through purposive sampling. The research tools include: 1) A short-term training curriculum on sound management using a digital mixer. 2) Hands-on practice with the Soundcraft UI24R digital mixer. 3) An evaluation form for the short-term training on sound management using a digital mixer. Data analysis was conducted using mean ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.) statistics. Findings revealed: 1) Students demonstrated a high level of understanding in basic audio adjustment = 4.16 S.D. = 0.53
