Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to 1) Develop the Digital Games to Enhance Mental Math Learning at the Primary School Level. 2) Evaluate the satisfaction of users with the Digital Games to Enhance Mental Math Learning at the Primary School Level and 3) evaluate the learning outcomes in basic mathematics among the sample group before and after using the digital game. The researcher conducted system acceptance testing and satisfaction evaluation among the sample group, which consists of 5 experts and 104 general users. The research instruments included the developed digital game, a satisfaction questionnaire, and a basic mathematics learning outcome test. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results indicated that experts expressed a very high level of satisfaction with the system, with an overall mean score of 4.53 and a standard deviation of 0.51. Similarly, general users expressed a very high level of satisfaction, with an overall mean score of 4.68 and a standard deviation of 0.47 and the general users demonstrated improved learning outcomes after using the developed game as a tool to support fundamental mathematical learning through Mental Math based addition and subtraction exercises. It can be concluded that the development of Digital Games to Enhance Mental Math Learning at the Primary School Level can be effectively applied in educational settings.
