Abstract

The research on the design of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students has the objectives 1) to design digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students, 2) to find the efficiency of designing digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students, and 3) to study the satisfaction towards the use of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students. The sample group used in this research was 30 students residing in the dormitory of North Bangkok University. The sample group was selected by convenience sampling, considering the convenience of the researcher in collecting data from the above sample group who could access digital media via online platforms and were convenient in providing information. The research instruments used in this research consisted of 1) digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students, which the researcher chose to use via YouTube Video, 2) the efficiency assessment form of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students, and 3) the questionnaire on the satisfaction of the sample group towards the use of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students.


The research results found that the design of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students was highly effective according to the assessment by experts, with an average value ( ) of 4.09 and a standard deviation (S.D.) of 0.52. The highest-rated issue was the ability to remember and apply it in practice. In addition, the study of the satisfaction assessment of digital media users via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students was highly satisfied, with an average value ( ) of 4.15 and a standard deviation (S.D.) of 0.36. The highest-rated evaluation item was the ease of understanding of the content. The research results indicated that the design of digital media via online platforms to present the topic of creative menus for dormitory students that was developed was effective and received high levels of satisfaction from both experts and users, which shows the potential of digital media as a tool that helps dormitory students learn and apply it in practice effectively. However, further development and improvement are necessary to make the media more fully meet the needs of users
