The Relationship between Motivation and work Efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees

Abstract
The research objectives were: 1) to study the level of motivation in working of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees, 2) to study the level of work efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees, and 3) to study the relationship between motivation and work Efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees. Data were collected from 151 personnel at the Praboromarajchanok Institute using a questionnaire. There was stratified random sampling and purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing to find the relationship by finding the Pearson correlation coefficient, which was set as statistically significant at the .01 level.
The results of the research found that 1) the motivation in working of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees, both overall and in each aspect, was at a high level. The first level was the nature of the work performed, followed by the success in working, and finally, compensation and welfare. 2) the and work Efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees, both overall and in each aspect, was at the highest level. The first level was working conditions, followed by job security. And finally, success in work performance and, 3) overall, Motivation had a fairly high relationship with work Efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees (r=.667) with statistical significance at the .01 level. Therefore, administrators should give importance to developing work motivation in order to increase work Efficiency of Praboromarajchanok Institute Employees.
