The purposes of this research were: 1) to examine the level of implementation of the student support system in schools under the Lat Phrao District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; 2) to compare the implementation of the student support system in these schools, classified by gender, school size, and work experience; and 3) to explore guidelines for developing the implementation of the student support system in schools under the Lat Phrao District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The sample consisted of 154 participants selected through stratified random sampling, using school size as the stratification variable with proportional allocation, followed by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. The Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranged from .60 to 1.00, and the reliability coefficient was .957. The statistics analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA), Scheffé’s post hoc test, and content analysis.
The research results revealed that: 1. The overall implementation of the student support system in schools under the Lat Phrao District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at a high level. (= 4.37, S.D. = 0.206) When considering each aspect, all aspects were found to be at a high level. 2. When comparing the implementation classified by gender, school size, and work experience, no significant differences were found overall. However, significant differences at the .01 level were found in the aspect of student referral when classified by school size and by work experience. 3. For the development of the student support system, schools should establish accurate, complete, and up-to-date information databases to serve as fundamental data for analyzing and monitoring student behavior. In addition, the use of standardized screening tools would enable appropriate student classification, leading to effective assistance, promotion, and development in accordance with students’ potential.
