Development of Two-Dimensional Animation Media to Preserve and Convey the Unique Identity of Thai Cuisine from the Four Regions

Abstract

This animated cartoon thesis, “Thai Food of the Four Regions,” aims to : 1) Study the Knowledge of the animation creation process used in real-world work, which can be applied to the future work of the project team; 2) develop an animated cartoon about Thai food of the four regions, which will be a new research work with academic value and can be disseminated to the public; and 3) help the project team gather opinions and suggestions from experts and students of North Bangkok University to improve the quality and appeal of the animation. The sample group consisted of 30 students from North Bangkok University and working adults who viewed the animated cartoon.


            The study results showed that: 1) The content quality evaluation by content experts had an overall average score of 4.17 with a standard deviation (S.D. = 0.70), indicating a high level of quality. 2) The media quality evaluation by media experts had an overall average score of 3.96 with a standard deviation (S.D. = 0.76). indicating a high level of quality. 3) The satisfaction evaluation of North Bangkok University students and working adults who viewed the media had an overall average score of 4.71 with a standard deviation (S.D. = 0.52), indicating the highest level of satisfaction.
