Abstract

This research aimed to develop and evaluate the quality of a three-dimensional (3D) animation entitled “Vaccine Hero” to promote health knowledge and foster positive attitudes toward vaccination among primary school students. The animation was designed using a storytelling approach, incorporating characters and dialogues appropriate to the learners’ developmental level.

The sample consisted of 18 fourth-grade students from a selected school, obtained through purposive sampling. The research procedure was conducted in three phases: (1) development of the 3D animation, (2) implementation of the animation in the classroom, and (3) evaluation of students’ satisfaction with the media. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was employed as the research instrument, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean (x̄) and standard deviation (S.D.).

The results revealed that the overall students’ satisfaction with the 3D animation was at a high level (x̄= 4.49), indicating that the developed media was of good quality and appropriate for use as an effective health education learning resource at the primary education level.
