Creating Multimedia Videos to Disseminate Knowledge and Rules of Korfball
Main Article Content
Abstract
The primary objectives of this research were two-pronged: first, to develop an accessible and comprehensive educational media focusing on the fundamental rules and regulations of Korfball using the CapCut editing application; and second, to evaluate the satisfaction levels of a target audience after engaging with the produced video content. The scope of this study involved a purposive sample of 30 participants, including students and interested individuals from various backgrounds. The research methodology employed two main instruments: the newly developed Korfball educational video and a comprehensive online satisfaction questionnaire. Data collected from the participants were statistically analyzed to determine the Mean (x̄), Percentage, and Standard Deviation (S.D.), based on a standardized 5-point Likert scale.
Regarding the development process, the research successfully created a learning tool that simplifies the complexities of Korfball. The production workflow was systematically divided into two critical phases: the Design and Development phase, which focused on storyboard creation and technical editing, and the Evaluation phase, which ensured the quality of the final output. The results of the study indicated a high level of efficacy across all measured dimensions.
In terms of expert validation, the content quality of the Korfball video was rated at a "Good" level (x̄= 4.00, S.D. = 0.76), confirming that the information presented was both accurate and pedagogically sound. Furthermore, the technical aspects of the video, including editing and production quality, received a "Good" rating from media production experts (x̄= 4.00, S.D. = 0.69). Most notably, the evaluation from the perspective of the target sample group yielded a "Good" level of satisfaction with a mean score of (x̄= 4.08, S.D. = 0.72). These findings suggest that the integration of modern editing tools like CapCut can effectively produce high-quality educational materials that are well-received by learners, ultimately fostering a better understanding of Korfball's basic regulations
