Abstract
This research, titled “Factors Promoting Cultural Tourism at Hua Takhe Market, Lat Krabang District,” aims to (1) study the factors that promote cultural tourism in Hua Takhe Market, and (2) analyze sustainable development approaches for cultural tourism in the area. A quantitative research methodology was employed, using questionnaires to collect data from 400 tourist respondents. Descriptive statistics including mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data.
The findings revealed that most respondents were female, aged 24–41, held a bachelor’s degree, and had a monthly income between 15,001–25,000 baht. The overall level of agreement regarding the factors promoting cultural tourism was high in all aspects. The cultural identity factor received the highest average score followed by public relations facilities and services and accessibility and transportation
The discussion indicated that the uniqueness of local lifestyles and the effective use of digital media play significant roles in attracting tourists. However, limitations in infrastructure and transportation remain major challenges to tourism development.
Recommendations include promoting cultural activities, improving basic infrastructure, and utilizing digital marketing strategies to sustainably increase the tourist base. Further studies are suggested to explore local community perspectives and conduct comparative research with other cultural tourism sites to support long-term development.
