Design and Development of a Management System for Small Bubble Tea Shops Using a Web Application on Smartphones
Main Article Content
Abstract
Small bubble tea businesses today face a range of challenges, including cost management, inventory control, quality assurance, and the delivery of efficient customer service. This study aims to design and develop a management system for small bubble tea shops using a web application on smartphones, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency, reducing errors, and improving the overall customer experience. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and PHP in conjunction with MySQL for the backend, with a focus on user-friendly and accessible design. The system was tested and evaluated by a group of users, including 100 customers and 10 administrators. The evaluation results showed that 85% of customers were satisfied with the system, particularly regarding the convenience of placing orders and making payments via digital platforms. Additionally, 90% of administrators reported that the system significantly improved order and sales management, while also supporting strategic data analysis. Despite certain limitations, such as the requirement for stable internet access and some users’ unfamiliarity with QR code technology, the findings indicate that the developed system effectively addresses key management needs and can be practically applied in small business contexts.
