A Study of Graduate Potential Desired by Tourism Businesses Based on the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education

Abstract
This research, " A Study of Graduate Potential Desired by Tourism Businesses Based on the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education," aims to study the level of potential of graduates required by the tourism business, based on four aspects of the Thai Higher Education Qualifications Framework: 1. Knowledge, 2. Skills, 3. Ethics, and 4. Personal Traits. Data was collected using a questionnaire with purposive sampling from 42 respondents. The data was analyzed using the mean (µ) and standard deviation (σ).
Analysis of the respondents' personal information revealed that the majority were female, aged between 31 and 40 years, held a bachelor's degree, and mostly held supervisory positions with more than two years of work experience. Regarding the potential of graduates required by the tourism business according to the Thai Higher Education Qualifications Framework, the overall four aspects were at the highest level. Ethics had the highest mean, followed by personal traits, knowledge, and skills, respectively.
