Development of a 2D Animation “Stray Cat” to Communicate the Issue of Stray Cats in Thailand

Abstract
This research aimed to: (1) develop a 2D animated media titled “Stray Cat” to communicate the life challenges of stray cats; (2) evaluate the quality of the media for use as a public relations tool for the Soi Dog Foundation; and (3) examine audience satisfaction toward the media and its effectiveness in raising public awareness of the foundation’s work.
The results indicated that the content quality, as evaluated by content experts, was high (x̄= 4.04, S.D. = 0.73), suggesting that the animation effectively conveyed the issues of stray cats. The media quality, as evaluated by media experts, was also high (x̄= 4.04, S.D. = 0.73), indicating that the animation was suitable for communicating these issues. Furthermore, audience satisfaction was high (x̄= 4.04, S.D. = 0.73), confirming that the animation successfully delivered its intended message to viewers.
