The Administration of Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization According to Good Governance Principles

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of opinions of personnel regarding the administration of good governance in Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization, and 2) compare the opinions of personnel regarding the administration of good governance in Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization based on personal factors. The sample consisted of 165 personnel from the Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization, calculated using Yamane's sample size formula. A questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.940 was used to collect the data. Data was analyzed using statistical software, including percentages, frequencies, means, standard deviations, and multiple regression analysis.

           The research results are as follows: 1. The level of opinions of personnel regarding the administration of good governance in Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization was high. When considering each aspect, the principles of accountability and cost-effectiveness were ranked first, followed by ethics and participation, and transparency. And finally, regarding the rule of law: 2. A comparison of opinions on governance practices revealed that personnel with different genders, ages, incomes, and lengths of service did not have significantly different opinions on governance practices. However, personnel with different levels of education and job positions had significantly different opinions on governance practices at the .05 statistical significance level.
